Mr. Michael Brown

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will publish in the Official Report full details of the crimes for which the prisoners now on hunger strike were convicted.

Mr. Humphrey Atkins

All of the hunger strikers are serving sentences for more than one crime; one of them received sentences for six separate offences two of them for seven and one for 21.

The details are:
