§ Mr. Clinton Davisasked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) if he will publish in the Official Report a list of the organisations and persons which have supported and opposed, respectively, the Government's proposals to hand over the work of the Official Receiver in bankruptcy cases to the private sector;
(2) if he has received a response from the Cork insolvency review receiver committee on the Government's proposals to hand over the work of the Official Receiver in bankruptcy cases to the private sector; and if he will make a statement;
(3) if he will withdraw the Government's porposals to hand over the work of the Official Receiver in bankruptcy cases to the private sector.
§ Mr. EyreA large number of organisations, firms and persons have commented on the Government's proposals set out in a consultative Green Paper of July 1980. All these representations are now being considered. In due course the Government will be bringing forward their proposals with a view to legislation which, at the earliest, would be introduced in the 1981–82 Session. It is not the Department's practice to list the individual organisations which have either supported or opposed its proposals.
