§ Mr. Staintonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the estimated cost to the Exchequer in the financial years 1980–81 and 1981–82 of military and similar support to Northern Ireland, of social security, unemployment and related benefits, and housing and industry support, each expressed in gross terms alongside the per capita spending by the Exchequer under these headings in the United Kingdom as a whole.
