HC Deb 13 November 1980 vol 992 c450W
Mr. Kilfedder

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what efforts have been made by the law enforcement authorities in Northern Ireland to discover the names of the youth clubs, supported by taxpayers' money, where petition forms on the H Block issue have been or are being circulated.

Mr. Humprey Atkins

None. As there is no indication that the circulation of these petitions is contrary to the criminal law, police inquiries would be a waste of valuable police resources.
