Mr. Jim Lester

Monthly unemployment figures are published in theEmployment Gazette for a selection of employment office areas only, in order to keep down printing and publication costs. They are available on request from the individual employment offices or from regional offices of the Manpower Services Commission. In the case of Cannock and Rugeley figures are given in a monthly notice distributed by the West Midlands regional office in Birmingham. Employment figures from the censuses of employment are also not published for individual offices to save costs, but are again available on request.
