§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithI am not aware of any move by the European Community to ban the production and sale of Devonshire cream. However, the European Community suckler cow premium scheme, which was recently introduced to assist specialist beef production, requires applicants to give an undertaking that they will not sell milk or milk products for 12 months from the date of application.
