§ Mr. Andersonasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether any prosecutions will result from the inspectors' report on the ownership of Consolidated Gold Fields.
§ Mr. Eyre[pursuant to his reply, 27 October 1980, c. 48]: In the light of advice from leading counsel, prosecution proceedings will not be instituted by my Department. In the light of this advice we are carefully considering how forthcoming company legislation can strengthen the law.
