§ Mr. WigginGuidance on conservation matters is provided by ADAS staff as part of their normal advisory activities, often in order to combine improvement of agricultural efficiency with the promotion of harmony between farming and wildlife. The amount of staff time devoted to conservation therefore varies according to the extent to which this subject arises in the course of advisory work.
