§ Mr. StanleyI do not consider additional administrative machinery is necessary. We are encouraging local authorities to co-operate with the private house-building industry in carrying out low-cost home ownership schemes, and in taking part in local land availability studies to ensure that the land earmarked for housing in structure and local plans is actually available for development.
