§ Mr. Neil Thorneasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he expects to receive the report of the working party which has been estimating the cost of operating the unimplemented provisions of the Children Act 1975 in England and Wales.
§ Sir George YoungI am glad to say that we have now received the working party's report and have accepted it as providing a firm basis for discussions with interested parties about further implementation of the Act. A copy has been placed in the Library and copies will be available shortly in the Vote Office.
