HC Deb 04 November 1980 vol 991 c498W
Mr. Hordern

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what action he proposes to take on the report of the Law Commission on insurance contract law.

Mr. Eyre

The Government are grateful to the Law Commission for its report on insurance contract law—non-disclosure and breach of warranty. The Government wish to allow time for all those interested in the report to put forward views and for those views to be considered. The Department of Trade is writing accordingly to a number of organisations and individuals and sending with its letters a note setting out its initial reaction to some of the issues raised by the report. Copies of the note have been placed in the Library.
