§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsIn 1979–80 identifiable Welsh Office expenditure on the Welsh language was £509.187: provision in the current year is £1,175.000. It would not be possible without disproportionate cost to identify all Government expenditure which, directly, or indirectly, supports the Welsh language.
