§ Mr. Ernie Rossasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list any 312W commission's recommendation on salaries of Scottish teachers was derived from the corresponding recommendations for England and Wales, however, I understand that it incorporated a similar error of about 4 per cent. A copy of the letter from the chairman of the commission about this error has been sent to the Scottish Teachers Salaries Committee.
