§ Mr. RaisonMrs. Evelyn Williams and Mrs. Lee Williams spent 502 days on remand in custody and a further two days in detention under the Immigration Act 1971. Both women were convicted of the illegal importation of a controlled drug. Mrs. Evelyn Williams was sentenced to six months' imprisonment and Mrs. Lee Williams to three months. They were removed from the United Kingdom because they had been refused leave to enter when they arrived.
