§ Mr. Brittan[pursuant to his reply, 13 May 1980, c.424]: The number of prostitutes in prison is not recorded. However, on 31 March 1980, 5 per cent. of the females under sentence in Holloway prison were serving sentences for offences relating to prostitution.
