§ Mr. Anthony Grantasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will bring forward proposals to strengthen the available sources of advice to Health Service units along the lines of the advisers on hotel services introduced by his Department in 1955; and whether such advice can be provided on a commercial basis.
§ Sir George YoungMy right hon. Friend has no plans to do so at present. Health authorities already have discretion to seek advice from a variety of sources. I should be glad to see them making wider use of commercial sources when they consider it appropriate to do so.
