§ Dr. McDonaldasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the number of taxpayers, treating married couples as one unit in each of the following income bands: up to £2,000, £2,000 to £4,000, £4,000 to £5,000, £5,000 to £6,000, £6,000 to £8,000, £8,000 to £10,000, £10,000 to £15,000, £15,000 to £20,000 and over £20,000.
§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 13 May 1980, c. 407–8]: Firm information on changes in the distribution of 134W income since 1977–78 is not available at present. The following estimates for 1980–81 have been projected from 1977–78.
