§ Mr. Loveridgeasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will seek to alter the basis on which the complete child benefit week is assessed for children in care to make it similar to benefits that are paid on a daily basis so as to remove the inducement to parents to keep their children away from school for a day to obtain the money for the complete child benefit week.
