§ Lord BELLWINHer Majesty's Government intend to add to the wetlands in the United Kingdom listed under the RAMSAR Convention. Although minimum safeguards are not laid down in the convention, each site is considered for inclusion according to its individual circumstances in relation to the need for adequate site protection arising from the international obligations conferred on Her Majesty's Government by the convention.
