§ Mr. David HowellOur current estimates, published in the 1979 Brown Book, of total recoverable reserves originally in place on the United Kingdom continental shelf are within the range 2,400–4,400 million tonnes. Updated estimates will be contained in the 1980 Brown Book which I expect to publish shortly.
