§ Dr. BoysonNo. The reforms announced by my right hon. and learned Friend on 19 February—[Vol. 979, c. 99–100]—are not expected to increase the cost of preparing pupils for the new examinations. If increases in examination fees are required to cover the costs of developing new syllabuses, these will be met within planned expenditure.
