§ 19. Mr. Waltersasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is satisfied with the equivalence of support given to the United Kingdom horticulture industry when compared to that given to the United Kingdom's European Econo mic Community competitors by their respective Governments.
§ Mr. WigginThe United Kingdom horticulture industry is given substantial Government support. We could not undertake to match every detail of the national aids which are provided by other Governments. Variations of methods of support are permitted within member States subject to general compliance with the Community rules on competition.
