§ Mr. Peter WalkerA number of measures have been taken. Last year there was a freeze on the price of milk and arrangements for stimulating consumption of milk and milk products have been introduced. Arrangements have been agreed for the restructuring of the wine industry so as to reduce the potential surpluses in this sector. There are currently proposals for restricting investment aids for the dairy industry and for increasing the levies on producers.
