§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) how many people were employed in the following industries in the Macclesfield constituency as an average in 1979 (a) man-made fibres production, spinning, doubling and weaving and filament yarn processing, (b) woollen and worsted, knitting, (c) carpets, (d) finishing, (e) clothing and (f) other textile sectors;
(2) How many people were employed in the paper and board industry in the Macclesfield constituency as an average in 1979.
