§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what were the increases or decreases in numbers of nutrition advisers employed by him in the last five years; and if he will consider extending the number of advisers to cope with the changes in standards of school meals which will flow from the Education (No. 2) Act 1980.
§ Mr. Alexander FletcherThe services of the two catering advisers employed in connection with the school meals service were dispensed with in March 1978 and I have no intention of appointing staff to advise education authorities on the provision of school meals.
