§ Mr. Mark CarlisleThe Government's expenditure plans assume that current expenditure on youth and community projects will be held at about the present level both in the case of spending by local authorities and of central support for voluntary organisations. Capital expenditure is planned to fall in both cases. The following table gives the information available on local authority spending on the youth service and related areas:
