§ Mr. Marlowasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will take action to have the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics excluded from international sport by acting through the International governing bodies of sport in the same way that South Africa has been excluded.
§ Mr. MonroThe policies of the international governing bodies of sport are not a matter for the Government. Our strong objection to the holding of the summer Olympics in Moscow is because Russia has invaded a neighbouring sovereign State, Afghanistan.
