§ Mr. Mark CarlisleThe numbers of those who signed letters or petitions for and against these proposals were 11,575 and 7,623 respectively. They included two organisations which wrote in support and 21 which expressed opposition. It is not the Department's normal practice to publish the identity of those who make representations in respect of proposals under section 13 of the Education Act 1944.
