§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government regarding the export of arms to countries such as Argentina, whose Governments are guilty of torture.
§ Mr. PymHer Majesty's Government's general policy is to withhold approval for the export of arms to a country where there are serious abuses of human rights and there is reason to think that the arms could be used against the civilian population.
