§ Mr. MonroI have under consideration the possibility of transferring to willing local authorities the guardianship of some monuments now in the care of the Department, in accordance with the provisions of the Ancient Monuments Consolidation and Amendment Act 1913. The considerations have not been taken to a stage when I can announce my decisions.
