§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales what steps he is taking, following the recent publication of the Lawther report on " Lead and Health " to reduce the levels of lead in drinking water and specifically to help local authorities to replace lead pipes in public authority housing.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsMy right hon. Friend and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment have already given the water authorities advice on identifying problem areas in accordance with recommendation 13 of the Lawther report. We will publish our response to the whole report as quickly as possible.
