§ Mr. FairgrieveMy right hon. Friend hopes to complete his consideration soon of the request made to him for an inquiry under the Children Act 1975 into the circumstances of the death of Tracy O'Day. The applicants for an inquiry into the circumstances of the death of Amanda McGibbon have been advised that it would be appropriate for them in the first instance to explore the matter with the Strathclyde regional council's social work department.
