§ Mr. FairgrieveThe British Kidney Patients' Association has offered £300,000 to the Greater Glasgow health board for the treatment of renal disease in children. Though the offer has raised some problems for the Board in the allocation of its resources, it has not been refused, and70W the board is at present considering how the money may best be applied in a manner that would be acceptable to itself and to the association. Both the board and the Government are most grateful for this generous offer, and it is certainly the Government's aim to encourage the raising of funds for the National Health Service from private sources such as the association.
