§ Sir George YoungAt 30 September in the years 1970, 1978 and 1979, the number of dentists in England providing National Health Service general dental services, excluding dentists employed by health authorities, was 10,426; 11,919 and 12,146 respectively. Figures for 1980 are not yet available.
