§ Mr. Mark CarlisleI have given careful consideration to the representations 15W I have received from the centre's governors and others about my decision to close this body, including a detailed document submitted by the governors which described the centre's current work and argued for it to remain open. I have, however, concluded that my decision to close the centre should stand, and I have written accordingly to the centre's acting chairman.
