§ Dr. VaughanThe Department sets the cash limits of regional health authorities, who in turn set the cash limits of area health authorities: information on area health authorities' cash limits is not held centrally. Final figures on over or underspending for 1979–80 will not be available for some months, until authorities have completed their financial accounts for year ending 31 March 1980.
