§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he will publish new guidelines on health centres to regional and other health authorities; and if he will consider allowing family medical practitioners to work from such health authority-built centres, even though the locality may not be inner city or otherwise acutely difficult areas.
§ Dr. VaughanThe new policy guidance will be issued in the next four to six weeks. Although this will introduce fresh criteria for considering health centre schemes, it will not limit future building to particular types of area.
