§ 28. Mr. Hal Millerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, in his review of the possibility of introducing citizens band radio, he will take account of the fact that the majority of available equipment is suitable only for transmission in the 27 MHz band.
§ Mr. RaisonWe have already concluded that it would be inappropriate to introduce the facility in the 27 MHz band. We are, however, continuing to examine the issues surrounding the introduction of the facility on a higher frequency and hope to be able to make an announcement very shortly.
