§ Mr. Crouchasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will take steps to prevent the use of hypnosis and other mind bending practices on any person by unqualified practitioners;
(2) if he will undertake a study of the dangers to the mental and physical health of persons induced to undertake hyperventilation and hypnosis at meetings of religious cults, such as the Exegesis Programme.
