§ Mr. Brothertonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what restrictions on entry and settlement currently apply to citizens of Southern Rhodesia who now choose to visit and settle in the United Kingdom; and whether he has any plans to ease them.
§ Mr. RaisonThere are no restrictions on the entry or settlement of those citizens of Southern Rhodesia who have the right of abode in the United Kingdom. Those who are subject to immigration control are expected to qualify for admission under the relevant immigration rules. Any requests for exceptional treatment are considered on their merits.
