§ Rev. Ian Paisleyasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) how much of the receipts from the European regional development fund each year represent a straight addition to the money otherwise available to the recipients and hence a cash addition to the whole Northern Ireland economy; and how much of these receipts each year is used to offset part of the Government's expenditure in Northern Ireland;
(2) how much money Northern Ireland has been allocated in each of the financial years since 1 January 1973 to date from the European regional development 690W fund; and how much Northern Ireland has received in each year.
