§ Mrs. ChalkerIn essence, the policy of the Supplementary Benefits Commission is that furniture and other goods, for which it gives exceptional needs payments, should be of cheap but durable quality, and that is the financial limiting factor. The Commission will not give exceptional needs payments repeatedly for the same items to the same claimants.
