§ Mr. Morganasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he intends to resist the application within the United Kingdom of both the increased co-responsibility levy on milk producers currently proposed by the European Economic Community Commission and any super-levy on primary buyers of milk that may be proposed by it in the future.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithWe have already indicated our opposition to the Commission's present proposals on the co-responsibility levy on the grounds that these discriminate against milk producers in the United Kingdom. We will judge any future levy proposals in the same light.
