§ Dr. Edmund Marshallasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how soon he expects to reach a decision in respect of the application of the Yorkshire water authority for the River Went to be designated as a main river.
§ Mr. WigginStatutory notice of the Yorkshire water authority's application for a variation of their main river map in relation to the River Went will be published on 28 March 1980. A decision to designate the river will depend on whether objections are received. If there are no objections I would expect the decision to be taken shortly after the end of April.
