§ Sir George YoungAdditional resources are included in block allocations to health authorities on the basis of overall health care need. It is for health authorities to decide on the deployment of resources to particular services. The Government have under active consideration the recommendations on prevention contained in the report of the Royal Commission on the National Health Service.
