§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what policy he is adopting towards locally registered settlements between area health authorities and senior hospital laboratory technicians.
§ Dr. VaughanThe remuneration and other conditions of service of medical laboratory scientific officers should be negotiated nationally by the Professional and Technical Staffs "B" Whitley Council.
Health authorities are required under regulations to observe the terms approved by health Ministers following such negotiations and should not enter into local agreements which conflict with the approved terms.
