§ Mr. GoodhartI understand from the Housing Executive that by 29 February 1980, 20,375 tenants of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive had expressed an interest in purchasing their homes. These applications were received as follows:

The price of each house will vary according to its size, location and amenities and to its value (before discount) as assessed by the district valuer. As yet no sales have been completed under the new sales policy, though provisional and formal offers have been made to over 1,600 tenants From November 1979 to February 1980 147 dwellings, which were mainly vacant rural cottages, were sold under the Executive's former sales policy.
