§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergThe Government consider that house building for rent in the public sector should be concentrated on meeting housing needs which are unlikely to be able to be met other than by the provision of publicly rented accommodation. Housing investment pro-158W capital allocations for 1979–80 subsequent to the August 1979 cuts, (c) the estimated housing capital expenditure for 1979–80, (d) the capital allocations for 1980–81 for (i) housing investment programmes, (ii) Housing Corporation expenditure on housing associations, (iii) new town building for rent, expressed in 1979 survey prices and 1980–81 outturn prices.
