Official historical data is collected in the "Annual Census of Production" 130W (ACOP). Detailed final results from the 1976 ACOP were published in "Business Monitor PA" 1002, while more aggregated provisional results for 1977 and 1978 were published in "British Business" on 8 February 1980 (page 175).
Table B of the Eurostat publication "Annual investments in fixed assets 1973–76", compiled by the Statistical Office of the European Communities gives, on page 202, comparable data of investment by the chemical industry in each member country of the Community.
