§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe encouragement of small businesses is a major objective in the Government's measures to revive the economy. I am satisfied that a high priority is being given to helping small firms in Wales, including those in the rural areas. The Prime Minister has made it clear that the Government's policy towards rural areas includes the encouragement of small businesses.
